2014
2014 has been an exciting year.
In a few days it will be 2015, so here is a round up of 2014
The most important event of 2014 was in May when we became Australian Citizens.
In October it was 5 years since we arrived in Adelaide.
Other events this year:
January: WTC in Adelaide & Australian Tennis Open in Melbourne. As well as the Tennis we went on the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel and returned to Adelaide on The Overland train.
February: Mapping Our World and Aztec Gold exhibitions in Canberra. We also visited both Old and New Parliments and the National War Memorial
April: Weekend in the Clare valley where we cycled between Winearies and did some star gazing in the dark skies
June: Visit to Penfolds Winery which included a tasting of Grange.
August: Whale watching with 0 whales!
September: The King and I at the Sydney Opera House, Aztec Gold and the Sydney Marathon
October: Recieved two vistors from the UK. Guided tours of the Barossa, Adelaide Hills (including Cleland Wildlife Park) and McLaren Vale. We also spent 4 lovely days on the amazing Kangaroo Island with plenty of sightseeing and BBQs. See the photos here.
