December 2011 (New Years Eve)
Since it is at the end of 2011, we thought we should update the latest news before we lost a year!
The most important news of all is that having been living and working in Adelaide for 2 years we were able to apply for our Permanent Visa. So we applied at the beginning of October, uploading all our evidence of Living, Working and being a Couple. 7 working days later we received the email saying we now had a permanent visa each. A quick trip to the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) office at 9am, given tickets 1 & 2, and we then had our permanent visas added to our passports. We should be back in that office in two years for our Citizenship test.
